What Does God Really Say?

To find out what God says, we need to look to his word, the Bible. We believe Scripture is clear that sex is designed to be reserved for life-long marriages between one man and one woman and that there are good reasons for this. Christians are often believed to be against everything to do with sex, but that shouldn’t be the case. Sex is good. God invented it, and he wants people to enjoy it in the right context. But sex is also not the be-all-and-end-all that our culture makes it out to be.

God has really good news for any of us who are feeling unloved, striving for intimacy, feeling like we’re missing out on romance. Sex is part of an extraordinary big picture about the ultimate reality: God loves us all and wants us to experience his love forever.

Whether we are attracted to men or women, whether we’re married or single, old or young, whatever our background, God’s counter-cultural blueprint for how to relate to one another sexually really is good news.
