The Living Out team spend the summer months visiting the various Christian UK conferences and festivals.
The oldest must be the interdenominational, 3-week long Keswick Convention which celebrated its 150th birthday this year. It was my privilege to be asked to give a series of seminars on my new book The Intimacy Deficit: Fully Enjoying God, Yourself, Others & Creation in Week 2.
This series gave me the chance to revisit the contents of the book and repackage them in a way that would fill just under four hours. A year on from writing the book, I found myself combining new ways of explaining and exploring The Intimacy Deficit with the existing material you can find in the book. In the absence of an audiobook, this is your best way of benefitting from the contents if you’re not a reader, or reflecting further if you’ve already (very sensibly) read the book. (And whether you’ve read the book or listened to these talks, you might also enjoy our Intimacy Deficit podcast series in which I talk to a range of guests about the themes of the book.)
The four seminars are freely available on YouTube, or you can get a taster by watching the first below.
