Year after year the Living Out podcast continues to be our most popular resource. As the team travel the country speaking at churches and events, we often have the joy of meeting people who are regular listeners of the podcast. (Sometimes this includes amusing conversations: multiple people have mixed up Andy Robinson and Andrew Bunt, asking Andy about his love for musical theatre, much to Andy’s horror and Andrew’s delight!)
As we approach the end of 2023, we’re looking back on the podcast series we have released this year. If you’ve not yet given the podcast a go, these series would be a great place to start. If you’re already a regular listener, these posts might remind you of some of your favourite episodes that you’d like to go back and relisten to.
For our first series of the year, we took Ed Shaw’s book The Plausibility Problem as our starting point. In the book, Ed explores nine missteps that Christians and churches often take and which in turn make traditional Christian teaching on sexuality, marriage and singleness seem implausible for many people, including same-sex attracted people. We took one misstep per episode and reflected on our own experiences of them and how we can live out the Bible’s better way.
You can find all the episode on your usual podcast platform (including Spotify and Apple podcasts) or via the links below.
